Divine Renovation: Where to Start?

2018-03-08 13:50

On Wednesday 9th May, Fr James Mallon will be in London attending the Divine Renovation: Where to Start Event?  Fr James, along with other parishes who are on the Divine Renovation journey, will be offering a practical, “hands-on” day that will equip you to go back to your parish and begin your own journey.  The day will also include times of prayer and worship, which will be led by Youth 2000.

The event is free to attend and has been designed for those who are wanting to begin, or perhaps continue moving their parish from maintenance to mission.  You will explore what is involved in the early stages and also hear from those parishes who have already begun their journey.

Parishes will particularly benefit from this day when priests and lay parishioners can attend and plan together. It is open to all denominations who have a heart for the renewal of the local church.

Fr James Mallon has written the following books which you may find to be a useful resource in preparation for the event:

Divine Renovation, From a Maintenance to a Missional Parish and Divine Renovation Guidebook, A Step-by-Step Manual for Transforming Your Parish.

Another book which may be of interest to you is Divine Renovation Apprentice, Learning to Lead a Disciple Making Parish by Fr Simon Lobo, CC, with the foreword by Fr James Mallon.
